V-Ray 1.5 SP3a for 3ds Max 2010 and 3ds Max Design 2010 is now available from the Chaosgroup website: http://chaosgroup.com/en/2/downloads.html V-Ray 1.5 SP3a also contains some fixes to the original SP3 release wich was released a few weeks back. New builds for 3ds Max 2009 are also available from the download section. Builds for 3ds Max 8, 9 and 2008 will be available soon. This is good news for me, seeing as I'm still using Max 2008. Sheeesh, its only April 2009 and already Autodesk has released 3ds Max 2010. Talk about planned obsolescence/forced consumerism. They aren't even trying to engineer our consent any more. Screw that, I will just keep using 3ds Max 2008 until my PC: falls over from old age, forcing me to re-install it or possibly replace it, or busts into flames like my old mac did Either way, I'm sorely tempted to get rid of Max altogether and move to Blender or something else - after all V-Ray does work with Blender ... Maybe I am just being touchy about g...
